London born Irishman who grew up surrounded by all the coolest music of the time. By ten years of age he had seen Bob Marley, David Bowie, Prince, John Martyn, Rory Gallagher and many more of the movers and groovers play live.
After being impressed by the shenanigans of Bilbo Baggins Pete spent five years circumnavigating the globe, trying out diverse jobs such as a painter and decorator in Egypt, barman in a 200 year old London pub and unemployed dancer and carouser in a lot of other places.
Eventually studying video and radio in college Pete has now settled down in a tiny Irish seaside village on the outskirts of Dublin where he likes to fly his two year old daughter around the house like she’s an airplane and learn to play the guitar and various other musical instruments.
Pete’s weekly show reflects these experiences and you can expect to hear anything from techno to grunge to funk to hiphop, afrobeat and classic rock; with occasional off the wall selections such as Jethro Tull’s 23 minute epic Thick As A Brick.
All spiced up with the hastily formed opinions of someone who only recently found out that they are actually a cynic.
