Born in London and from the age 18-21 took advantage of the live music and dancehalls in the area, such as Dingwalls, the Camden Palace and the Electric Ballroom, watching mainly live blues, soul and reggae. I also managed to get a ticket for Live Aid.
I moved to the Cotswolds when I was 21 and now run New Wave Seafood. I am also an amateur poet and musician and I made an album for a challenge . The album is called Schoolboy Errors which is also the name of my current radio show. I also wrote several tunes during lockdown and some fishy pun songs for the early Incapable Staircase shows.
SCHOOLBOY ERRORS
SATURDAYS (MONTHLY) @ 10.30AM
Music you could be likely to hear would be sixties and northern soul, Motown, ska, big band , belting classics and danceable tunes of all types. You won’t hear thrash metal, or in fact any metal really.. probably no Oasis , very little noisy nasty music. These are real tunes, big tunes.
I waffle a bit. I sometimes perform a song or a poem.. but most of the time I have an early drinks time and just get into the tunes.
